LONDON: Arsenal FC are set to meet with the representatives of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen as they consider a summer transfer move for the Napoli striker, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray.
According to CaughtOffside, the Gunners are evaluating Osimhen as a potential addition to their attacking lineup, though Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres are currently higher on their priority list.
With ambitions of securing the English Premier League title, Arsenal are in search of a prolific goal scorer, ideally one capable of netting 20 goals per season.
Osimhen fits the profile, having scored 22 goals and provided five assists in 28 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray this season.
The 26-year-old Nigerian forward has a €75 million release clause in his contract for the upcoming transfer window, making him an attractive target for clubs looking to bolster their attacking options.
Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring Osimhen’s situation closely, with all three clubs expected to be in contention for his signature, CaughtOffside reports.

Despite Manchester United’s uncertain Champions League prospects, Osimhen is reportedly open to a move to Old Trafford.
The striker was heavily linked with both Chelsea and PSG last year before making a surprise loan switch from Napoli to Galatasaray. Both clubs remain interested in acquiring him this summer.
Osimhen has played a key role for Okan Buruk’s Galatasaray side, helping them maintain a four-point lead at the top of the Turkish Super Lig.
However, recent setbacks, including a four-game winless streak, have put their title hopes under pressure.
Their latest struggles included a dramatic 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa, where Galatasaray twice surrendered their lead and conceded a late equalizer in the 85th minute.
With Napoli eager to offload Osimhen permanently this summer, a bidding war could ensue among Europe’s top clubs for the prolific striker, who previously starred for Lille before his move to Serie A.
